Phoenix Model
PH237
The Tucano from Phoenix is a true-to-original military training aircraft with a wingspan of 2.40 metres. The model is constructed in an extremely light and high-strength wooden construction and is designed for electric or combustion engines. The large control surfaces and aerodynamic design ensure a high speed range, slow landings and precise aerobatic characteristics.
Absolutely true to the original
This model from Phoenix is in no way inferior to its role model. Many beautiful scale details, such as the cockpit, pilot figures, rivets, etc., make the Tucano look like the original when viewed on the ground. And even in the air, the model gives an absolutely "scale" flight image, which can hardly be distinguished from the flight image of the man-carrying prototype.
Wooden construction with an enormously high degree of prefabrication
The model is made of extremely light and high-strength laser-cut wood. The construction is characterised by an enormously high degree of prefabrication of 95%, which reduces the construction effort almost to the installation of the drive and electronics. The Tucano is completely covered with film and comes with almost all the small parts required for construction.
Electric retractable landing gear included
The ARF kit of the Phoenix Tucano comes with an electrically retractable main undercarriage specially developed for this model and an electrically retractable nose undercarriage. The undercarriage legs are made entirely of CNC-machined metal.
Electric or combustion engine
This model can do both! The design is prepared for both electric and combustion engine propulsion. So the only question is: killer sound or absolute efficiency?
