The legendary E-flite® Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm set the standard for convenience, easy assembly, and pure fun in the “flat foamy” category. Now, the new Eratix 3D SWS (Sport Wood Series) 1.6m (64") brings those same advantages to a larger, more refined platform – with the strength, stiffness, and lightweight precision of a balsa and plywood airframe reinforced with carbon fiber.
This is the first-ever wood-built, fully 3D-capable model of its size available in a BNF Basic version that assembles quickly without glue, and comes fully equipped with high-voltage digital metal-gear servos, a 6S-capable Spektrum Avian motor and Smart ESC, and an AR637TA+ receiver with AS3X+ and SAFE Select. For pilots who prefer their own setup, an ARF version is also available.

Skill Level 2 – Some Experience Required
Skill Level 2 aircraft, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots who already have some experience and the skills to assemble, set up and fly similar class models. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models like the E-flite Eratix 3D FF (Flat Foamy) 860mm, Sportix 1.1m, Timber X 1.2m, Extra 330 SC 3D 1.3m, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the BNF Basic version Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m (64”).

Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly® (BNF®) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed, so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!
Flexible Power
The factory-installed Spektrum™ Avian™ brushless outrunner motor is compatible with 6S 3200–7000mAh batteries to offer a wide range of flight times and performance – from sport flying and basic aerobatics to hovering and unlimited vertical performance. Plus, the large and convenient top-mounted canopy hatch makes it easy to install and remove batteries.
Smart Technology
The Eratix 3D SWS is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart ESC that provides a variety of real-time power system-related telemetry data including overall battery voltage and more – with both Smart and non-Smart batteries – via compatible receivers (including the AR637TA+ installed in the BNF Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20 and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor/thrust reversing can help shorten rollout after landing and offers other special ground handling capabilities (5–6+ channel transmitter required for reversing).
Easy Assembly
The BNF® Basic version Eratix 3D SWS 1.6m (64”) arrives mostly factory-assembled with the power system, servos, and receiver installed. That includes four high-voltage digital and metal-geared Spektrum A179 and A180 mini servos. The two-piece horizontal stabilizer bolts into place, and the elevators and rudder install with captured pin hinges, so no glue is required for assembly and you be flying in less time than any other model in its class! The ARF version is ready to fly after typical final assembly, power system, and electronics installation.
Wide Flight Envelope
Like other similar class models, the Eratix 3D SWS is capable of slow cruising, smooth sport flying, basic aerobatics, and even aggressive 3D flying – all in the same flight! It offers a truly “mild to wild” flight experience that intermediate to experienced pilots will appreciate and enjoy.
