Skill Level 2 – Some Experience Required

You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models like the E-flite T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.2m, Commander mPd 1.4m, Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the SE5a 900mm BNF Basic version.

The SE5a 900mm is equipped with an exclusive Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time power system-related telemetry data including motor RPM, current, battery voltage, and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – via compatible receivers (including the AR631+) and Spektrum AirWare equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20 and others) while you fly. Plus, the receiver is loaded with a Smart Transmitter Model File that allows you to import all settings for NX and iX series transmitters during the binding process.

Flexible Power

The factory-installed Spektrum brushless outrunner motor is 3S and 4S compatible to offer a wide range of “mild to wild” performance – from scale flying and performing basic aerobatics with 3S batteries to unlimited vertical plus unexpected aggressive aerobatic performance with 4S batteries! The convenient top-mounted and magnetically secured hatch makes installing and removing common and popular 2200–3200mAh batteries easy.

Just a few screws and struts that snap into and out of place easily mean you can remove/install the wings in just a few minutes.
