Ultimate 120cc Aerobatic Biplane – Flex Innovations (At Aerobertics)
The Ultimate 10-300, originally designed in the mid-1980s and flown at the 1988 World Aerobatic Championships by aerobatic legend Gordon Price, has become one of the most iconic and respected biplanes in aviation history. Its bold proportions, compact design, and exceptional agility set a new benchmark in aerobatic performance, inspiring both full-scale and R/C pilots worldwide.
Building on the success of the Ultimate 70cc, World Champion pilot Quique Somenzini has elevated this legendary design into a modern masterpiece with the Ultimate 120cc. This new generation aircraft preserves the spirit of Gordon Price’s original vision while integrating advanced aerodynamics, lightweight composite construction, and modern convenience features.
At the heart of the design is Flex Innovations’ proprietary Speed-Lock system, used on the upper and lower wings, horizontal stabilizers, and canopy. This innovative system allows for fast, tool-free assembly and secure installation, making transport and field setup effortless and precise.
Constructed using carbon fiber, fiberglass, laminated plywood, and balsa, the Ultimate 120cc offers an exceptional balance between lightweight structure and extreme rigidity—capable of withstanding high-G aerobatic performance while maintaining scale realism. The aircraft also features a bold Clint Sweet Designs factory-applied color scheme, giving it a striking presence in the sky and on the ground.
