Equipped with exclusive SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, the AeroScout S 2 helps prevent overcontrol, loss of orientation, and crashes — so you can focus on enjoying the thrill of flight. With three selectable flight modes — Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced — you can adjust stability and control at the flip of a switch as your skills grow. And if you ever lose control, just press the Panic Recovery button to instantly return to level flight.

Built Tough, Flies Smooth

The AeroScout S 2’s “pusher” power configuration keeps the propeller and motor safely away from the nose, improving both safety and durability. Its lightweight yet rugged EPO foam construction means it can handle those inevitable rough landings while still looking great. The oversized tires and steerable nose wheel allow for easy takeoffs and landings on grass, pavement, or dirt — and with optional floats (sold separately), you can even take off from water!

Ready for Every Pilot

At Aerobertics, we offer both Ready-To-Fly (RTF) Basic and Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic versions:

• The RTF Basic version includes everything you need except a battery and charger, making it easy to start flying with the Spektrum™ DXS transmitter included in the box.
• The BNF Basic version is perfect for experienced pilots who already have a compatible Spektrum DSMX®/DSM2® transmitter, batteries, and charger.

Both versions come factory-assembled with a brushless power system, Spektrum Avian™ Smart Lite 30A ESC, and a Spektrum AR631 receiver with AS3X® and SAFE® technologies for unbeatable stability and control.

Keep Learning — Keep Flying

Once you’ve mastered the basics, switch to Experienced Mode to try loops, rolls, inverted flight, and other aerobatic maneuvers! The same transmitter can even be used to fly other BNF Basic “Next Step” aircraft like the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m, Valiant 1.3m, and more.

You can also practice at home using the RealFlight® Trainer Edition RC Flight Simulator (sold separately) with the Spektrum WS2000 Wireless Simulator Dongle — a great way to sharpen your skills before heading to the field.

Telemetry Capable

The AeroScout S 2 1.1m is equipped with a Spektrum Smart Lite ESC that can provide a variety of real-time power system related telemetry data to compatible transmitters. This includes approximate flight battery power remaining via multiple LEDs and audible alerts from the DXS transmitter included with the RTF Basic version. It will also provide motor RPM, current, overall battery voltage and more to Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, the NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and others) while you fly.

Extremely Durable

The unique design and “pusher” power configuration helps to protect the propeller and motor while also offering improved safety. Plus its construction with advanced EPO material delivers a lightweight yet durable airframe that's tough enough to handle everyday flying punishment without getting bent out of shape. And in the unfortunate event you damage any airframe parts or components and can't repair them, a full line of replacement parts is readily available!

Easy Assembly

The AeroScout S 2 1.1m arrives mostly factory-assembled with the power system, receiver and servos installed. All you need to do is finish some quick and easy final assembly, without the use of glue or special tools, and you'll be ready to fly in less time than it takes to charge a battery!

Capable Gear

The wide-stance tricycle landing gear with a steerable nose wheel and oversized tires offers improved ground handling for easier take offs and landings on a wide variety of surfaces from paved runways to grass parks and even dirt fields.

Optional Floats

Turn the AeroScout S 2 into a float plane with the optional float set (sold separately). Installation takes just a few minutes and all the necessary hardware is included with the airplane and float set.
