Montana GRANIT 400ml

Montana GRANIT is a water-based special effect spray paint containing fine plastic particles that create a highly realistic granite texture. The result is a convincing stone-like finish with excellent coverage and a unique structured appearance.

This product is primarily intended for indoor use. It is not recommended for outdoor applications unless properly sealed. To achieve water resistance, the surface must be correctly primed and the fully dried granite layer (minimum 36–48 hours drying time) must be sealed with multiple coats of Montana VARNISH.

Application & Surfaces

Montana GRANIT can be applied to a wide range of surfaces including:paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, polystyrene, and other paintable acrylic materials.

For best results—especially when using lighter granite shades on dark surfaces—we recommend priming with Montana PRIMER or Montana TEXTURE spray. Using Montana TEXTURE will further enhance the authentic granite effect.

The product provides very high coverage and can also be used as a structure spray by lightly coating dry areas to build the desired stone texture.

Once completely dry, it can be top-coated. It is compatible with Montana GOLD, Montana ACRYLIC markers, and standard acrylic paints, allowing for creative layering and mixed-media applications.

Important Note:

GRANIT Black contains a mix of green and black plastic particles to better replicate the natural appearance of real granite. For an optional finishing touch, Montana GOLD Shock Black may be applied as a top coat once fully dry.
