Precision Build & Innovative Design
This model features a robust airframe constructed from precision-machined 7075 aluminum motor mounts and main shaft housing, with carbon side frames and durable plastic landing skids. The aluminum tube tail boom and carbon vertical stabilizer complete a strong and lightweight frame. The new Sunnysky® R40 brushless outrunner motor (750KV) drives the main rotor directly without any gearbox, while the Sunnysky® R13-3 brushless motor powers the tail rotor, eliminating mechanical issues like stripped gears or slipping drive shafts.
The 4mm steel main shaft is supported by precise ball bearings, and the swashplate and rotor head are crafted from high-strength 7075 aluminum alloy, ensuring durability and top-notch performance. Thanks to the 3G flybarless system and CCPM mixing, the main rotor head boasts an optimized, simple, yet state-of-the-art design. The blade grips mimic "full-size" RC helicopter grips, complete with bearings and damping rubber rings for smooth and controlled flight.
Advanced Electronic System
The heart of the M2 EVO MK2 lies in its advanced OFS3 smart flight control unit, which integrates the 3G flybarless system, main rotor ESC with governor, and tail rotor ESC. The system comes with three high-performance digital micro servos (1.65 kg.cm, 0.08 s/60°) with metal gears, providing precise control over the 120° CCPM swashplate.
To control the M2 EVO MK2, you'll need at least a 6-channel RC set with an S.BUS-compatible receiver (or DSM2/DSMX/CRSF protocols with telemetry), allowing you to utilize all flight modes and settings. For non-aerobatic flying, a basic transmitter with 4 channels is sufficient, with a 2-position switch for Attitude Stabilization/3D mode. If you want to perform full aerobatic maneuvers, a computer transmitter with at least 5-point collective pitch curves and throttle-hold mode for autorotation landing is necessary.
With the intuitive mobile app (available for both iOS and Android), you can fine-tune the PIDF parameters and more, a feature that once required an advanced computer radio. However, the flight control unit comes pre-programmed and adjusted, allowing you to start flying right away. If needed, you can still tweak settings manually using the button and LED array on the OFS3.
Design, Durability & Flight Time
The M2 EVO MK2’s canopy is easily detachable, made from durable yet lightweight plastic. You can choose from three highly visible color schemes, ensuring you can always track the helicopter’s position in the air. The flight pack features a 3-cell 11.1V 750mAh 60C LiPo battery (with XT30 connector) and provides up to 10 minutes of regular flight or 4 minutes of intense 3D aerobatics.
