A Legend Returns: HAWK 4
At the now-defunct company Staufenbiel in Hamburg, the Hawk was one of the most successful models in the fiberglass glider segment. Today, we’ve revived this high-speed hotliner and proudly present the H4WK with its advanced 4-flap wing design.
Agile Hotliner
The H4WK is, like its three predecessors, an uncompromising hotliner with a T-tail. Equipped with a powerful propulsion system, this racer effortlessly reaches speeds of over 250 km/h while maintaining remarkable stability. Thanks to its robust fiberglass construction, it excels in performing all aerobatic maneuvers and can ascend vertically at a steep 90° angle straight into the sky.
Optimized Incidence Angle Difference (EWD)
With an optimized fuselage design, the incidence angle difference is zero degrees, ensuring completely neutral flight characteristics even at maximum speeds.
High-Quality Fiberglass Construction
The model is built entirely using high-quality fiberglass shell construction. Both the wing, featuring the ultra-thin and high-performance HS-002 airfoil, and the fuselage are reinforced with carbon fiber (CFK) at critical points. This exceptional stability allows for extreme flight speeds.
Advanced ARF+ Pre-Assembly
Spend less time in the workshop and more time flying. The ARF+ pre-assembly level takes care of the most time-intensive tasks. All wiring is pre-installed, so electronic components only need to be connected to the pre-drawn cable harness and then to the receiver. Additionally, all control horns are pre-installed, and the fiberglass motor mount is already resin-embedded. Assembly is mostly limited to installing your preferred electronics.
